The Skills Zone

Base of the mountain.

Whether you're honing your skills or having fun, the Skills Zone is your go-to spot for progression. Open seven days a week, it's included with a season pass or available via day pass purchase as part of our Climb Zone.

With a variety of terrain designed for every level, the Skills Zone is perfect for riders of all abilities. Beginners can practice berms and small roll-downs, while advanced riders can push their limits with gap jumps and drops. The Pump Track is ideal for anyone looking to fine-tune their bike handling, from toddlers to seasoned pros.

Conveniently located between the bottom of the Chairlift and The Barn, the Skills Zone is the ultimate starting and finishing point for any day at the bikepark.

What you need to know

As in previous years, riders must purchase a Climb Zone season pass or day pass to use the trails. Please note that Climb Zone season passes do not give access to the chairlift. Wentworth Mountain Bike Park trails (south side Lift Zone trails) are only accessible when the chairlift is operational for mountain biking.

Climb Zone pass holders can access the Lift Zone trails when operational on weekends.

Nova Scotia law requires all cyclists to wear a properly fitted and securely fastened bicycle helmet that complies with regulations.

Ski and snowboard? An All-Access pass add-on to the 2025-26 Winter Season Pass is available at certain times of the year. This is your ticket to Four Seasons of Adventure at Wentworth! Learn more

Season passes are available for purchase online.

Single-day passes will be available for purchase at the trailhead by scanning a QR code.
