Downhill Fundamental Session

All-inclusive bike park orientation

Lesson package especially designed for riders new to lift-accessed mountain biking. Includes one and a half hour Downhill Fundamental Session, an all-day chairlift pass, bike rental and safety gear.

Minimum Ability Level:

Comfortable with riding basics in urban and cross-country environments. Looking to learn the basics of downhill riding in beginner terrain.

Downhill Fundamental Session: $185.00+HST

Participant’s must pre-register online no later than 24 hours in advance to preferred lesson time.

Lesson times available. Friday 1pm & 3pm
Saturday 10:30am & 12:30pm
Sunday 10:30am & 12:30pm (Holiday) Mondays 10:30am & 12:30pm

Limit two sessions per customer per season.

Nova Scotia law requires all cyclists to wear a properly fitted and securely fastened bicycle helmet that complies with regulations. 

Bike Park Private Clinic

Unlock your flow with personalized coaching

Get tailored coaching from our Private Clinic designed around your skills, goals and riding style. This 4-hour clinic includes personalized coaching in the Skills Zone Progression Park, followed by practical application on our beginner and intermediate flow and tech trails.

Want to boost confidence and control? We'll focus on cornering, braking, and trail flow. Looking to tackle tougher terrain? We'll dial in body positioning, line choice, and technique through roots, rocks, and technical features.

Whether you're riding solo or with a group, your session is fully customized to help you progress faster and ride smarter.

MINIMUM ABILITY LEVEL

Beginner, able to load own bike on lift. Competent on a mountain bike and able to ride green mountain bike trails.

MINIMUM BIKE REQUIREMENTS

Mountain bike with disc brakes and front suspension.
Full Suspension Mountain bike recommended.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Helmet, knee pads, gloves.
Additional equipment suggested: Full-face helmet, elbow pads, chest protection.

Step-Up Camp

Confidence. Skills. Fun. Just for kids

Step-Up camp is a multi-week program for kids ages 10-15 who want to level up their riding. Whether you’re just starting out or want to boost your skills, this camp is all about building confidence and foundational skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Held on Saturdays, Step-Up camp focuses on beginner-friendly techniques like body position, braking, cornering, and trail awareness. Riders will develop their skills each week through games, drills, and trail rides in our skills zone and bike park.

Perfect for newer riders who want to get comfortable on the trails, ride with more control, and have a blast doing it.

MINIMUM ABILITY LEVEL

Beginner, able to load own bike on lift. Competent on a mountain bike and confident on green mountain bike trails

MINIMUM BIKE REQUIREMENTS

Mountain bike with disc brakes and front suspension.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Full face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, full finger gloves.

Chest protection recommended, bike specific shoes recommended. Flat soled, snug fitting.

Step-Up Camp: $249.00+HST (3 day pack)
Participant must be age 10-15

A minimum of three participant registrations is required for camp to run.

Camp days are not transferable. We’re unable to offer make-up sessions for missed days to keep groups consistent and coaching effective. Thanks for your understanding!

Your legal responsibility as a Mountain Bike Park participant is explained in the following notice, which you'll see posted around the park. It is necessary to read and fully understand the Exclusion of Liability.

Signage
Trail safety is everybody’s responsibility. Read the site signage carefully. All routes are designated by colour-coded trail markers at the start of each descent. You must read and understand the Understanding Bike Park Signage.

Etiquette
Trail etiquette keeps the bike park safer and more fun for everyone. You will likely encounter riders of varying abilities. Be sure to follow the Mountain Bike Responsibility Code carefully.

Equipment
Before riding, always inspect your equipment or have it checked by a qualified bike mechanic. For more information, review the Mountain Bike Checklist.
